Creative festival Offf is celebrating 25 years with the forthcoming edition of its event at Barcelona’s Disseny Hub, taking place from May 8-10. In the run-up to the event, the festival has announced its programme of more than 70 speakers from across the creative industries, including graphic and motion design, visual art, AI, VR and digital culture.

From the design and branding industry, there will be speakers from agencies and studios including Pentagram, DixonBaxi, Hato, Collins (which designed the festival’s new branding) and many more from around the world. Illustration and animation will be represented at the festival with speakers such as artist and illustrator Mr Bingo, stop motion 2D director Anna Ginsburg, mixed media animator Danaé Gosset, Juan and Alejandro Mingarro, who create vibrant illustrations under the alias Brosmind.

Many speakers on the line-up straddle tech, entertainment and creativity, including Julia Hoffman from Google Creative Lab, experiential artist collective Marshmallow Laser Feast, and Territory Studio, which has created designs for the worlds of film, TV and gaming. Meanwhile creative director and Emmy award-winning title sequence designer Filipe Carvalho will be recording a live podcast with Digital Kitchen.

Creative Review also makes an appearance on the programme with a panel hosted by editor Eliza Williams, who will be joined by digital artist Niceaunties, 3D artists and brothers Boldtron, creative director and 3D makeup creator Ines Alpha, and filmmaker Paul Trillo. The panellists will be discussing their work, including how they incorporate tools such as AI into their practices in different ways.

Alongside established creative leaders and practitioners, the event is showcasing the next generation of talent through a dedicated space in which students from 12 institutions will have the opportunity to present their work.

As usual, there will also be a mix of additional workshops, demos, talks and learning sessions, which are being hosted by Offf’s main partners Adobe, Procreate, Houdini and Maxon, as well as Automattic, Stocksy, Monotype, Labasad and Fail Fast.

The main event will coincide with the launch of Offf a la cuitat, a programme of free, public events taking place in venues near the Disseny Hub. These are geared towards those who don’t hold a festival ticket, bridging the gap between Offf and the wider community in Barcelona.

Offf takes place at Disseny Hub, Barcelona from May 8-10, 2025. Tickets and the full line-up are available at offf.barcelona
