Offf festival launches new branding for 25th edition

Collins has created a new brand for Barcelona’s annual creative festival, which is inspired by its place in the creative community

While Offf introduces a new identity for each edition of the festival, the wordmark and overarching branding usually remains the same, revolving around thin letterforms with modified sections composed of bars.

To mark the 25th edition of the festival in May 2025, Offf has launched new branding developed by US agency Collins, which draws inspiration from the festival’s role within the international creative community.

The new branding is rooted in the concept of ‘Centre Offf Gravity’, which guided the visual identity. The festival’s name appears to have a gravitational pull, causing text boxes to stick to it. Meanwhile the bars of the ‘f’ in the festival’s name are merged into a long, uninterrupted line, nodding to the appearance of a magnet. The concept comes to life in motion, where the festival’s name floats across the graphic and the boxes follow it.

The new branding will be rolled out in full when the campaign for the 2025 festival is revealed in February.

“In the end, there is nothing, nothing, nothing stronger than a community of imaginative people determining and advocating what they most deeply care about,” says Collins’ founder, Brian Collins. “We are beyond honoured to work with Offf, taking what’s rare and best, and giving this community’s ambition a new voice and an even bigger future.”
